Summit Bike and Hike: Silver Lake Village to Route 303 Trailhead
Looking for something different? This ride follows the western leg of the Summit Bike and Hike as it passes through Silver Lake into Stow and ends near Hudson. This ride offers a few challenges with hills and a little road riding on quiet side streets in Stow and Silver Lake. It's a pleasant ride through mostly quiet suburban neighborhoods with a small amount of open country cycling. If you have not done this portion of the trail, here is your chance to do it with a group that takes it a little slower and enjoys the views.
We will meet at the Silver Lake Village Park on Route 59 at the southern shore of the lake just west of Route 91/Darrow Road. This trail and all roads are asphalt paved and very safe. Be sure to arrive 15 minutes before our wheels-down time on this meet-up.

Tom BilczeEvent HostOrganizerNice ride - The sun is setting earlier every week. We got about 14 miles in; returning to Silver Lake just after sun set. There were a lot of deer and chipmunks out. It was very quiet with few people on the trail. A peaceful ride with early fall colors on the trees and some leaves on the path. -
