Portage Bike and Hike: Lake Rockwell Road Trailhead to Peck Road Trailhead
It's apple cider time! Our last ride of the season on the Portage Bike and Hike will start at the Lake Rockwell Road trailhead adjacent to Beckwith Orchards and Cider Mill. On our return you can walk over and buy some of the best and freshest cider and crisp apples from the orchard.
We'll cycle east to the trail's eastern end at Peck Road just east of Ravenna. This trail begins as a crushed limestone trail through Towner's Woods. Once it reaches Ravenna, it is asphalt paved for the remainder of the ride.
Be sure to arrive 15 minutes before our wheels-down time on this meet-up.

Tom BilczeEvent HostOrganizerIt was THE Perfect day to ride a bike! Mid 70s and plenty of sun is an unexpected bonus for late October. Beckwith Orchards was packed as we cycled east to Ravenna. The trees were in pretty good color and the trail was not too busy. After reaching the trail end just past Ravenna, we headed back. We detoured into Towner's Woods where the trees were very colorful. It was a real enjoyable ride. -
