Have you ever wanted to ride the entire Ohio and Erie Canal towpath trail? Bike ride the complete Towpath trail from Harvard Road to Zoar in 4 segments. This type of bike ride is for the seasoned cyclist. Bike riding time is approximately 4 – 5 hours and the average distanced biked is 37 miles. The average speed is 10-12 mph.

Today’s ride starts at the Clinton Trailhead and heads south to the John Glenn Grove Trailhead just south of U.S. Route 30. We will stop for lunch at the Blue Heron Deli adjacent to Ernie’s Bike shop at the Erie Street Trailhead in Massillon.

This ride is rated as a level 3 (Hybrids) as it is a longer ride for the recreational cyclist. Cyclists travel at a pace of 11-13 mph. The ride traverse variable terrain with easy grades with a few short climbs. Distance is usually 15-30 miles. Regroups are common but at the discretion of the ride leader. Rest stops taken as needed.
