The Great Allegheny Passage (GAP), http://atatrail.org, is one of the premier rail trails in the USA. We are fortunate to have the trail within an easy 2-3 hour drive. The Spin-offs are exploring the possibility of a weekend trip to the GAP. We will stay in a bed and breakfast in Confluence. We plan to leave early Friday and return on Sunday evening. You would be responsible for 2 nights of lodging at $75/night + tax (per room ) and all meals. This trail is an amazing experience and the Confluence and Ohiopyle areas provide some of the best scenery and cycling on the trail. Right now, we need to know the level of interest that we have in our group. In our second poll, we are going to look for the best weekend that suits our cyclists’ schedules. It may seem early to begin this planning, but accommodations are limited. If we move forward with the ride, we will most likely need to commit in early 2012.
